Writers, photographers, digital artists and musicians that are friends of Alice are providing a selection of their work for students to interact with. These creatives, providing first rate assets, are amongst the leaders in their chosen professions. It is a great opportunity for students to be able to work with resources of this quality.
Inspirational imagery from Jon Yeager kicks off this feature. Jon, a commercial photographer based in Minneapolis USA, has travelled extensively in Africa capturing the peoples of the continent in their daily toil. Jons love of Africa radiates from these beautiful images which we hope both teachers and students will enjoy.
We are seeing many exciting examples of stories inspired by the series. Having viewed the episodes students are being challenged to create their own "what happens next" episode. It is a thrill to see Alice travel the world, get into all sorts of scrapes and somehow manage to survive... at least until the next episode.
Students are using a variety of technologies with Photostory and Powerpoint seemingly the most popular. Replicating Alice's range of gadgets is not so easy and so we are providing downloadable images of the Zeron Igrat that can be incorporated into stories.
